The 2012 NFL Draft has come and gone, with the highly-anticipated first and second draft selections of Andrew Luck to the Indianapolis Colts, and Robert Griffin III to the Washington Redskins, now official. To celebrate these two potential NFL superstars’ debut in the league, this season both quarterbacks will be making their McFarlane SportsPicks debut!

McFarlane SportsPicks and Madden…Two brands that don’t necessarily seem to go together, but if you look at recent history, they are intimately connected. There is nothing bigger in the sports video game realm then the juggernaut known as Madden. Over the past decade one of the most anticipated events is the unveiling of the game’s cover, bearing witness to which superstar will be the face of the game heading into season.

We couldn’t be happier that the NBA is returning on Christmas Day! Retailers and collectors are eagerly anticipating our NBA 20 lineup, and why not? It’s one of our best basketball series EVER, and excitement for the series will only magnify now that we’ve got the NBA season back on track.

McFarlane’s SportsPicks took a big mainstream step with a sharp-looking ad inside the front cover of the official Stanley Cup Finals program. Art Director Ben Timmreck put together a one-page design to showcase four SportsPicks figures, each in a different Stanley Cup pose.

The offices of McFarlane Toys has looked like a “SportsCenter” commercial lately. Arizona Cardinals wideout Steve Breaston came by for a visit in February, followed shortly (pun intended) by Phoenix Suns center Robin Lopez dropping by in March. The Arizona Cardinals debuted the first images of our upcoming Larry Fitzgerald figure last week, prompting a “Thank u for the awesome figurine my friend. Nicely done as always!” tweet from Larry Fitzgerald himself.
