I am going to send out a bulletin on myspace to drum up business again, basically copy and paste Steves initial message about the server issues. If we dont get people to re-register it will be super duper quiet here.

I got your MySpace bulletin, KH.
I'm here for any Star Trek or Transformers discussion that might arise.
I'm back as well.
Nice welcome back fellas. It feels like there was a fire and we are rebuilding now.
No kidding kh.
It really sucks that the database corruption occured, but can you imagine if the exact same thing happened at SSG?![]()
We were so lucky we didn't lose the threads we all voted on for figures never made before this time around, or during the Action-Online crisis. I printed our final list so we could have that, but a record of the process is equally important as well.
Shhhhhhhwwwwwww!
Close call!
I have my lists saved Tycho with updates and all. IF it ever came to it, I am sure even with the original listings, we can just "figure" it out
I gave Hasbro (Darryl DePriest) your thread's vote outcome as well that day, I recall. We used the two different methods, which impressed him because it was so very thorough that way.
Then 36 of the same figures-to-be-made turned up identical on both lists, though maybe not in the same prioritized order, and that really intrigued him, too.
Not that while there is such a fan outcry for Yarna (don't ask me why), I think she was No. 1 on your list IIRC (unless it was Hem Dazon - the same as mine) - but she has advanced to No. 3 on my list just behind Beru and Cliegg (since the others that came out ahead of her have been made or confirmed). That's darn accurate for both our methods!
Meanwhile, somewhere in my huge thread, I compared the choices your list and my list each produced. I'd be curious to find that post and see if all the 23-25 or so figures checked off already came from the 36 that matched both our lists. It doesn't necessarily follow, but it would have been prudent on Hasbro's part.
A lot of folks feel that was the greatest undertaking for the hobby and our forumites that each of us ever contributed. I'm proud of that work we did.
Wow. This place is a ghost town. I thought for sure this site would have picked up by now.
