What have you watched recently

This is a great thread to have anywhere to discuss recently watched movies and such. I watched Major League 2 today. Not as good as the original, but it has its moments. Still hard to believe that is President Palmer in these movies.

I finished up Seinfeld season 5 earlier today. So now I've watched the first 5 seasons in the past couple of weeks. Hilarious, classic stuff.

I plan on watching some movies this weekend. Tonight I've already watched The Hitcher (remake). This movie wasn't all that bad, I really liked it actually. Its a good edge of your seat thriller; I even found myself screaming at the tv several times. This one really surprised me, although the ending was a bit cheesy. Gotta love Sophia Bush.

Watched Silent Hill last night. I love that movie. I know most people hate it, but i really like it and hope they make a part Duex for it.

I thought Silent Hill was alright. There were some things I really liked about it, like the atmosphere, very eerie, very well done. Then there were some things I didn't like, but I dont' really remember what they were. It might have been cheesy or not enough scaries or monsters; I can't remember exactly. I have only seen the movie once. But I do plan on watching it again, I've actually been trying to get the dvd through Columbia House but they will hardly ever accept us (my brother and I) anymore. We get tons of movies from them, they average to about $5-6 a piece, new releases and all. You can't beat it. I've had Silent Hill on my list for a while now and next time we get accepted, it will definitely be one of the movies I am going to get.

If you have Starz it is always on there. Thats where I caught it. It is very similar to the first 2 video games, which I know you havent played(SSG thread). I havent payed 3, but want to.

I actually just cancelled Starz and Max a few weeks ago, so I just have HBO and SHO now. SH 3 appears to be pretty decent, I should probably play the first 2 before I advance further in the 3rd one, for continuity.

You should keep Starz and HBO, those are the 2 best packages for movies. I never liked SHO because they blow.

The only reason I kept SHO was because of Boxing, Elite Fighting, High Def Movies, well, just High Def in general, and their occasional TV series. Starz definitely has the better movies, but I either own them all on dvd or have seen them through Netflix, plus they have no HD which is/was really important to me; I hardly ever watched Starz b/c of these reasons.

Dish Network has Starz in HD. Your cable company blows. HAHA
