    Smile Hi! New member here...

    Greetings, my Fellow-Earthlings...
    I am Magengar (Japanese for "Mazinger"), thanks for
    letting me join here.

    I'm a Mazinger-Z fan, hence that's mostly what I enjoy collecting: Mazinger figures and toys, to include all three
    Mazingers (Mazinger-Z, Great Mazinger, and Mazinkaiser).
    This makes up about 80% of my toy collection, while others of my favorite robots in my collection include Giant Robo (1967, and late '90s versions), Astroboy,
    and Raideen.

    To get a basic glimpse of my collection, feel welcome
    to visit my "Toyopsy" site at
    http://magengar.multiply.com

    I found this website while browsing the net in search
    of new ideas for making custom figures and toys;
    as I am in the middle of a couple of Custom projects
    with my jumbo machinder Mazingers.

    Among other webgroups, I am also a member of
    Robot-Japan; and the Spanish anime-fan website of
    "El Rincon de Garada" (Garada's Place);
    and the yahoogroup "DoGA CGA" community group
    of the DoGA CGA Japanese 3D modeler/animation
    program.

    I'm new in this hobby of collecting and customizing
    Japanese toys, and I'm lookin forward to sharing in
    this hobby with you all.

    Thanks!

    zozo-Magengar

    Welcome magengar!!!

    I know absolutely nothing about the toys/figures you collect but they look pretty cool and interesting.

    These two are really awesome:

    Hey magengar, welcome!

    Mazinger-Z was a good friend of mine when I was a kid (had the 24" Shogun Warrior), and I still love him today. I have a few Mazingers hanging around the house now... some die-cast shoguns, and a few old Popy vinyl toys. All giant robots rock though!

    Love the idea of customizing old jumbos. I have a habit of wanting to bring any of them home, no matter how beat-up they are. Never thought about repainting or customizing them... hmmmm.

    Hey UKWildcat... there's a wiki page (as there is for everything) for Mazinger Z >> here.
